With this tried and tested Buttys Bits accelerator pedal linkage upgrade kit for the VW Bus Type 2 60-'67 (Splitwindow), a completely new pedal feel is created by simply replacing the original linkage with the ball-bearing mounted accelerator pedal mechanism fitted with rod ends. Finally, there's no more on/off switch because it transforms the accelerator pedal into smooth, progressive control.
A further optimization is the return spring supplied, which makes the use of additional springs on the carburettors no longer necessary.

The Buttys Bits Splitscreen accelerator pedal linkages are available for left hand drive Busses '60-'67. The scope of delivery includes a special 8 mm wrench that makes it easier to attach the ball joint to the pedals.
